ISO 9001 is recognised internationally as the world’s most widely adopted Quality Management System (QMS). Acquiring ISO 9001 involves a period of rigorous assessment including a comprehensive understanding of the standard, assessing current processes, documenting the QMS as per requirements and conducting an internal audit to ensure compliance. Finally, a certification audit is carried out by an external registrar.
